About Us - Custom made Patchwork Paeroa

Having established a growing Bed & Breakfast business in the beautiful Karangahake Gorge, www.goldnviewsbnb.co.nz Pamela’s passion for patchwork was expressed in the many wonderful quilts, cushions, table runners, table mats and wall hangings adorning the accommodation.

After considerable encouragement from many guests and family, she opened “Patches and Cream” in Paeroa in April 2008. After a year in a delightful Colonial Cottage in a side street, she made the move to larger premises in the main street of Paeroa.

Pamela has always had a passion for material, playing with fabric and making dolls clothes when she was 10 years old. As a qualified Dressmaker and Designer, she has over 40 years experience in the clothing industry, including an entry into the Benson and Hedges Fashion Awards, soft furnishing industry and was teacher/instructor for people with Special Needs.

Pamela is supported by a team of lovely ladies with experienced patchwork background who are able to give advice, support and encouragement to her many customers.
